This restaurant in Brooklyn serves the best Italian food in the area. Located on Franklin Avenue, it can be easy to miss, but it's worth seeking out. Despite being a small establishment, they offer seating in the heated and covered back area. I recommend making a reservation to avoid a long wait. While I ended up sitting at the bar, the service was excellent, but I would definitely return for a table seating experience. The lentil soup was delicious with just the right amount of flavor in each bite, perfect for a cold evening. The pasta dishes were also amazing and freshly made, staying hot throughout the meal. Amy, our server at the bar, was fantastic, providing attentive service and great...

If you walk to fast you will go right past it. This subtle but has a big punch of romantic atmosphere. They also have a back yard area as well. I came with my family and we was not disappointed. Everything we got was delicious. The BLT was excellent and the pesto mayo was everything. I will be asking for extra tomatoes cuz they were roasted and fantastic on this sandwich. The bread was everything!! The ultimate brunch drinks were also tasty. The crostinis with goat cheese was sooo tasty...I want a drizzle of honey cuz I'm fat. But that one and the chicken pate were excellent. Whoevers grandma making the cheesey lasagna is heaven sent. This establishment was excellent...I will be back!!

Came here last night for an early Valentine's date. The place is super cute and there's definitely an air of romance with the dim lighting and candles on each table. We sat in a booth in the back and it was pretty roomy and felt private, but there was a small two person table set up right next to us. No one was sitting there but if there was, i can see how it definitely would not feel as private/quiet since it's very close to the booth. My partner and i got three pastas, she got the tagliatelle funghi and i got the pappardalle lamb ragu, and then we shared the penne alla vodka (because why not! . All of the pastas were solid flavor wise, plus they were a pretty big portion of each.

Came here to try their happy hour. The backyard was very cute, but we found out that happy hour is only inside at the bar, even when the backyard is empty. We also found out that the online menu is a bit out-dated. Prices and the happy hour cocktails offered are a little different on the online menu vs in the restaurant. The service was fine. Our server wasn't particularly friendly but she took our orders and was willing to move us to the bar when we asked about happy hour. Not sure if I'll be back for happy hour but we'll see!
