TL;DR: Putting it briefly, this is like getting that wonderful gift that is gift wrapped in low quality packaging. It's on a suburban street, the row of shops don't looking like much from the outskirts; therefore, most people would saunter past without being any more the wiser. Yet taking a step inside leads to a warm (though cool in temperature) hidey hole that works on a number of levels, and brings an Italian charm of using the quality food and coffee to speak the wonders. It has been a work in progress, so who knows what Cenzo's is going to do next? Went for a late lunch.Staff are friendly and attentive. We ordered the chicken burger and cheeseburger and Two coffees. Ice water was brought out promptly. Followed by coffee. Food took about 20mins to be delivered. Chicken burger was delicious and had a bit of spicy marinade in the fried coating. Cheeseburger was cooked medium rare, perfect in my opinion, with a nice sauce. Chips were delicious and they give a generous tub of aioli as well. Merlo coffee was made well, light and tasty. Decor is trendy, clean and tables inside are spaced well enough apart from each other. Nicely hidden in the suburban streets. Will be back!
Dropped in this local cafe not long ago. I can classified myself as a regular of this cafe although not weekly but couple of months in between my visits. I witness its success and extension.Dine in and ordered a flat white with just plain croissant with jam butter. Croissant was carefully warmed up and cut in half so made it easy for me to enjoy it.Flat white with Merlo brew is always the attractive highlight to tempt my return visit. A large group of us decided to pop in for dinner on Saturday night. What I really liked about this place was how accommodating the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were more than happy to make substitutions on their menu for food allergies. They were very attentive.<br/ <br/ The chips were good and my haloumi burger was tasty. The chicken wings were flavoured well and the calamari was tender. Nice spot for drinks on an evening in the suburbs.

Hidden gem in upper mount gravatt!! <br/ Owner was super nice and so were the staff. Really accomodating as it was a sunny day and we wanted to sit in the shade. We ordered the cheeseburger and salmon benny. The food was great especially the chips (crispy and light). Will definitely come back<br/ <br/ Disappointed that I didn’t get to try the donuts from doughluxe but maybe next time! <br/
The second time to visit this little coffee hole adjacent to a fitness centre in Upper Mt Gravatt. Not many choice of food but they are continuously having orders for take-away coffee from the local regulars. Merlo is the selling point and I wonder what would happen if they change the bean? Not a bad place to replace the caffeine level....
Great for that caffeine fix. Stumbling distance for my principal place of residence, they offer a consistent brew that is now made better by the implementation of decent soy milk (i.e. Vitasoy). Just wish they would invest in some decent Cafe furniture to enhance the environment.
I love sending a text, turning up and my coffee is ready with my name on it. The staff are really fabulous and the coffee is creamy and yummy every time.

My wife and I take our daughters to enjoy a coffee and baby chinos either on a Saturday morning or after a play in the local play ground.
The menu comprises Merlo coffee, one or two cakes of the day and the famous Kopi Luwak or Civet Coffee.
