Cha Kung Fong is tucked away near Tufts Medical Center in Chinatown. Parking in Chinatown is usually difficult, but that street is usually my go-to, so it made sense for me to check out this place (also because I can never pass up on boba). The inside is pretty spacious and usually empty. I've been here twice and have tried the popcorn chicken, iced classic milk tea with boba, and hot taro milk tea. The popcorn chicken was pretty good, but the portion size was small for the price, compared to that of Moon Flower House down the street. There was nothing special about the classic milk tea, but I really liked the boba when I had it because it was freshly made, soft, and sweet. I'm not sure if it...

I swear this place has the best oolong milk tea with bubble in all of Boston. I get mine with 30% sugar and they always make it perfectly. I’ve been coming here consistently since its close to school. The tapioca is always perfectly chewy and the milk tea tastes fresh. The popcorn chicken w the spicy topping is great too. I havent had a single bad order from here. The atmosphere is clean and chill. Music is a little too loud for studying here so it’s more of a spot to eat and chill/talk. I come here way too often. The food takes a bit of time to make but the tea comes out fast. Would recommend if you need a pick me up. Only thing that’s missing is a loyalty points card punch out system. Amaz...

One of my favorite boba shops around Boston! I go here every time I go to Chinatown haha. My go to drink is their rose milk tea with sweet QQ jelly (basically it's white pearls). My husband also loves their classic black milk tea with brown sugar boba. Their boba is chewy and perfectly cooked (not under or over cooked). I've also tried their mango coco sago and strawberry smoothie, and both are decently good and refreshing, but I would definitely prefer their milk teas over these fruit smoothies. The service is quick and will answer your questions if you have any. All in all, great place to hang with friends lots of seating! Réservez une table maintenant

The interior is quite spacious and generally has an empty feel. I've visited twice and sampled the popcorn chicken, iced classic milk tea with boba, and hot taro milk tea. The popcorn chicken was decent, though the portion seemed small for the price when compared to what you get at Moon Flower House down the street. The classic milk tea didn’t stand out, but I thoroughly enjoyed the boba; it was freshly made, soft, and sweet. I’m unsure if it’s always that good, but on that occasion, it was great. Unfortunately, the taro milk tea was a disappointment. It had a strong taste of powdered taro, and I regretted ordering it.

I visited this place specifically for their Taiwanese fried chicken, and I have to say, it's far superior to what you'll find at other spots in Chinatown. I highly recommend trying the seaweed flavor, which brings a wonderful savory element to the crispy, juicy chicken. The restaurant has ample seating, and the service was impressively fast. I also appreciate that they update their decor with the seasons.

This fried chicken is legit. Out of this world. The flavors and textures are beyond! Fries were great too. I loved my iced peach oolong with cheese foam, too. (Ever try cheese foam? It's awesome, get it). I will definitely be back here the next time I come to Chinatown. Réservez une table maintenant

The chicken here is absolutely delicious! I also highly recommend the egg waffles and the Taiwan-style sausages, which have a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.
