However, the pad thai and fried rice were disappointingly mild, despite our choices for spicier options. In fact, they were the tamest Thai dishes I've ever encountered, lacking any real spice or notable flavor. The pad thai was also quite dry. The only seasonings I could detect in the Thai fried rice were salt, pepper, and garlic—again, no spice at all, even though I ordered a 3-star level.
I specifically requested only carrots and onions in the rice, but they still topped it off with large slices of cucumber and tomato, which one of us couldn't eat due to a tomato sensitivity.
