Crusted milk an mold was forming around it which is called bacteria.We also notice cockroaches In the milk jug when I was going to steam up the milk. Absolutely disgusting. If anything they need to do a proper clean of that station where they make coffee. If it 's that bad there imagine the kitchen. I can 't stress this enough. Hygiene comes first! Came here for a solo brekky, good service and loads of seats! There’re so many to choose from on the menu. Got the haloumi stack and a coffee. The food is yummy, however I found the avo was too lemony, and didnt taste freshly smashed (i cant be sure, could be some seasoning they add. The meal itself was substantial and the eggs were perfectly runny, with a reasonable price. Coffee’s good.
This restaurant previously had a separate vegan menu section, which is no longer available. However, they still offer a few vegan options within their regular menu. I tried the vegan "scrambled eggs," which was actually a dahl dish and I found it to be delicious. The service was very friendly and they were happy to help me identify the vegan options on the menu.

Been here several times now for breakfast and lunch. Each time, I've enjoyed the food and service. They do a good breakfast. Pretty standard options but done well. Really enjoyed pulled pork and scrambled egg on brioche. Very big serve for the price.
We had a very last minute lunch for a large group and the cafe was so welcoming. Amazing menu, so hard to choose! Food was delicious, service excellent, would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back again
There are no vegan options available at this restaurant. The shakshuka I ordered was comprised of tinned tomatoes, only 4 baby spinach leaves, and 6 small slices of mushroom. The coffee was average at best.
The Chalkboard Cafe is great for coffee and lunch. The coffee is, in my opinion, the best in Gordon. I have been here a few times for lunch and the food is also really good.
