We actually ended up here by default as the cafe we usually go to across the road had a queue - don't do queues ! What a lovely surprise it was - just one table left for us by the door but we were quickly moved to a less breezy table. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and didn't bat an eye when we orders waffles with chocolate sauce for lunch ! They were sensational - coffee food tooWill be back to try the more nutritious options You have converted me !
This restaurant previously had a separate vegan menu section, which is no longer available. However, they still offer a few vegan options within their regular menu. I tried the vegan "scrambled eggs," which was actually a dahl dish and I found it to be delicious. The service was very friendly and they were happy to help me identify the vegan options on the menu.
This is a simply delightful cafe/restaurant especially seeing there is outside seating and we can take our dog. The coffee is always spot on, they listen to the way I like it. Food here is very, very yummy, I especially like the vege curry they do for dinner. Service is warm and friendly and efficient. I think this place is going to be a favourite with me.
Come here for breakfast every few weeks. They have a good selection of sweet and savoury breakfasts. One of the nicest smashed avo around, and the French toast is great. The Belgian waffles are a little to sugary for my taste, though. The coffee is very nice. They get quite a bit of business for takeaway coffee. Weekends are very busy for brunch. Very beautifully presented and greeted at the door. The service was very efficient and the coffee and fig cakes were delicious. The ice coffee was delicious, but the blood orange, orange drink was reported to have a bad taste. The site requires a good clean... but overall, no bad experience.
I tried the Brekkie-Gyosa was delicous, and also the medeteran salad so beautiful and coffee as well as I order Mocha taste well. this place was amazing and pooney the owner of the coffee shop her very generous person.
There are no vegan options available at this restaurant. The shakshuka I ordered was comprised of tinned tomatoes, only 4 baby spinach leaves, and 6 small slices of mushroom. The coffee was average at best.
Do not hesitate to visit Chalkboard cafe. Breakfast was amazing . Staff were well trained. Menu with so many options of Colourful dishes . Réservez une table maintenant
