Had to give one star to leave a review, we have stayed here in the past and it wasnok, would deserve a better rating if we were actually able to stay this time, booked over a month ago, showed up today, no one answered the bell, called number listed, no one answered 5 calls and 2 messages. Called 6th time someone answered and told us no vacancy as they had lost our reservation.....NEVER WILL EVEN TRY TO STAY HERE AGAIN Service: 1
I believe this restaurant is deserving of a Michelin Star! The food was just as good, if not better than what I had in Germany. The Weisswurst with Jager gravy and spatzle was fantastic. The schnitzel was perfect. And the chocolate mousse was incredible – thick, creamy, and rich with a hint of alcohol. I highly recommend this restaurant! The apple crumble was also very enjoyable.
This food brought back to childhood the borcht was magnificent. The fusion between the Russian and German food was most excellent. The owner Marina was so accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere and the decor of this restaurant was so homey and eclectic. I highly recommend eating here.
I gave this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars only because there was only one vegetarian option. However, the dish was delicious and my meat-eating family members all agreed that it is now their favorite restaurant in Castlegar. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We went here for the first time last weekend and we were very impressed with the food. It was delicious and can't wait to go back. The brochette was so good and the schnitzel dinner was awesome. The lady who owns the place was very sweet. I highly recommend this place.
