Crumbs Bakery Cafe

Whenever I visit Castlegar, I have to drop by Crumbs Bakery Café. I love to start the day with their full bodied drip coffee and one of their famous breakfast sandwiches. Today, I chose beer sourdough bread for the breakfast sandwich and it had just the right amount of tangy sourdough flavour. Of course, you have to stock up on bread and pastries with each visit too. Their croissants, pain au chocolate, and other pastries are to live for. I hope to be back soon.

Stopped in to get breakfast. Tasty breakfast sandwich and the coffee was great. Got a quick course on coffee picking, they use light roasted hand picked ripe (red cherry beans) so light roasting them is enough to bring out the deep flavours. And you can taste it! . They also have a limited choice of deserts and breads. Friendly service, highly recommend it.

Having explored British Columbia for two weeks, I can confidently declare this coffee shop/bakery as the best I have come across in both BC and the UK. The espresso coffee is outstanding and the staff is incredibly friendly. While the Lemon poppyseed danish was a bit of a letdown, everything else we sampled was delightful.

Stumbled upon this place and it was a total score. Incredibly friendly staff. The sandwiches, treats and coffee are all amazing. The atmosphere is and decor is simple and modern. I cannot recommend this place enough. Réservez une table maintenant

Freshly made bakery goods and sandwiches, and the best coffee (Americano) I've ever had. The owner even explained the coffee beans selection and roasting process. Crumbs is a must stop place for breakfast or lunch!

Always such good food. Their sandwiches and muffins are great, and their ham and cheese croissants are to die for! Great atmosphere, always my first choice downtown

Sorry France, but I think this place has the best croissants on the planet. Ham and cheese croissant is amazing. Plus they do beautiful coffee art.

An ideal spot. The soft pretzels were fantastic, and my wife claimed the coffee was the best she's ever had. We highly recommend it. Réservez une table maintenant

Pour Over coffee was great! Pressed sandwich as great. Cookies were great. Totally recommend!
