Overpriced and not that great...I remember when this place first opened in town, it used to have a great atmosphere. Now I realize it's the same owners as the burger place next door and unfortunately their quality has gone way down hill.We ordered 2 smoothies the other day and they're about $9 each which is a complete rip off if you ask me...The chocolate one was nice but the orange one was full of CHUNKS which is the opposite of what a SMOOTHIE should be. Could make a better one at home for a fraction of the price! For what they are charging you'd think they'd invest in a good quality blender so they can actually do it right!Also, no music playing inside the place which gives it a weird vib...
Small but very friendly place. My family and I were very happy to stop here for lunch on our way to Osooyos. Food is excellent, tastes good and fresh. I had the poke bowl with tofu. I normally don't like tofu, but I loved this one. My kids loved the burrito and quesadillas. Oh, the kombucha, tastes so good, so much better than the supermarket ones. Thanks for a great experience.
We were very happy with the food style (healthy, varied, and colourful with interesting spins on common ideas), the house kombucha (subtle and easily drinkable), and the blended juice (again, not too sweet, great flavours). Service was reasonably prompt. Bathroom was clean and had a change table (something we count as a bonus). Overall: recommend and will be back
We love this place! Healthy food, clean and local ingredients and it’s one of the only places around that there is an abundance of gluten free options. The staff is always SO friendly and their warm drinks are wonderful. If you ever get to try their homemade chipotle sauce… it’s incredible! We love to eat here whenever we are in Castlegar. Yum, so delicious! Friendly staff, nice interior, outdoor seating with umbrellas. Multiple kombucha options, tons of smoothies and juices. BBQ plant burger was excellent, as was the broccoli pepper soup, and the blueberry kombucha. Very reasonably priced especially for veg/plant based food, $20 for burger, soup, and pint of kombucha.
Exactly what we needed for a healthy, hearty vegetarian/vegan meal on our travels across Canada. Very accessible off the highway, easy to find with a cute little mountain view. HUGE menu which was a little overwhelming but we made the right choices with a bowl and the grilled cheese. The food came quickly and the service was great.
Really good food!! Went here for the first time and was really impressed with the Reuben but I fell in love with the charged frozen hot chocolate Very nice break from what seems like only pub food options in Castlegar. I’m already dreaming about my next frozen hot chocolate
Got lunch here with a friend. We ordered the same thing but mine was in a wrap. Both meals cost the same yet I had 1/3 of the food as my friend did. Good food, very tasty and fulfilling, just a puny amount. Also quite understaffed and minimal drink options.Food: 3/5 Réservez une table maintenant
