During Somerset trip we stopped ver in Bath for a couple of nights. We walked past this place and so glad we decided to go in and take a look inside. Hidden at the back is a beautiful laid back place to enjoy freshly made small plates to satisfy everyone. Sea bass, duck and amazing cheeses. Served with beautiful champagne. Fabulous service. Beautifully intimate and chilled. Memorable evening.
I was given the cheese afternoon tea as a present and it certainly didn’t disappoint! We had a three tier stand with 6 different cheeses, fruit and various preserves. The waiter explained the cheeses and brought champagne. We had it as a late lunch and found it really filling. There were crackers and delicious bread to eat with the cheese. Then tea and cakes. Really enjoyable.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. The concept of champagne, charcuterie and cheese is simple but they do it really well and the quality of the produce is great. The sharing boards are lovely and just right for lunch. We’d happily return even just for the champagne; refreshing to quaff lesser known brands.
From making the reservation to leaving the venue the service here was just fantastic! Very attentive and helpful they really made you feel like it was important to them that you had a good time. Incredible experience. The owner was our server and she did a great job helping us navigate the tapas menu. We had the BEST champagne of our lives and tried some new foods too. Definitely pop in for a glass and tapas if you're in Bath.
Excellent service from the attentive Katie, very nice selection of French cheeses topped off with grapes, quince jelly and cherries. Subdued but excellent music too!
Lovely food, champagne and service from Rafael and Vicky. Would definitely come again and would recommend the croquettes and croque monsieur!
