Queued for about 5 minutes, which isn’t a problem. However when we were first in line the server rudely and inexplicably ignored us, turned to the customer behind us and served them instead! When I pointed out their mistake they were abruptly incredulous and condescending: shoulder shrugging, eye rolling, and ultimately the only thing they were bothered by was that I had the ‘audacity’ to point it out. Bath is a busy city, so I can only assume they rely comfortably on passing trade and have no interest in securing returning customers, otherwise their customer service would be better. I have seen that the owner or manager has politely replied to some poor reviews disputing that the staff acted in the way customers have reported. In anticipation of a response: sir, I can assure you that the staff on duty that day were shockingly rude and you may want to consider re-visiting customer service training.
