As for the service, there was a bit of a communication gap, so we relied a lot on pointing and nodding. However, they managed to get our order right and were very friendly! One of the staff even pointed out the sauce bar, which was helpful for us. The food arrived quickly. Now, about the food: I'm eager to return and try different noodles and their hot pot next time for sure! The fried rice was delicious, especially after adding some of their sauces. I might skip the Special Chaozhou Platter on my next visit; while it was good, it’s something you can easily buy and prepare at home. The beef ribs were incredibly rich and flavorful. I added a bit more sauce to balance the richness, but the me...

If you like beef, this place is Great value! And if you happen to like Asian noodles, then this is a great place to try. The cuisine is Chao Zhou, or in their own dialect, Duoju. It is similar to the Vietnamese pho but with some Chinese influence. Right after you sit down, they'll serve tea in cute small tea pots and tiny cups. I love the pea green color of the set. Oh, and the tea is free! Many different choices on the menu, but mostly beef (different parts) and tripe. Most of them are flavorful those with brisket and tripe have a heavier taste. Love their ribs! Very satisfying for cravings of meat. Service is the typical Chinese restaurant no frill type they don't do small talk or try to b...
I honestly would have given this 1 star but I gave it 2 stars because I have Chou Zhou roots and this is supposedly a Chou Zhou restaurant. Errrrrr nowhere close to Chou Zhou cuisine taste, texture, and food safety have much room for improvement. This was my second time eating here and sadly it verified the disappointing first experience. This time I went back with diarrhea. I know because I had one meal today! Service wise I feel that the staff (waitresses) are not happy working there because a late middle aged woman, who I think is the head of staff, just dictates everything. The waitresses themselves are quite polite and nice, but the leadership could use some help. I do not recommend thi...
Either hit or miss. We did enjoy their Chao Zhou style noodle Kuey teow), beef tripes, and beef cube fried rice. Would recommend trying their sauces they have a mini sauce bar), housemade shacha sauce was really good. I honestly thought everything tasted better with it. However, I would not recommend their oyster pancake and combo A hotpot, both were too plain and the hotpot beef broth tasted like a big pot of MSG water : Should have probably ordered Combo C, I guess? Good thing service was friendly, though. Réservez une table maintenant
It was my first time to eat Chaoshan beef hotpot. The beef lobster is surprisingly delicious. The hand-picked bones are super fragrant, and the seared oysters are not fishy at all.Forgot to order the beef balls! The meat quality is very good. It tastes great too!So far, the level of the top 3 hot pot restaurants in LaThe only drawback is that the sauce plate is too small, I refilled it three times?
Foods different with posting onlinePrice very highest than seafoods restaurantAll chefs are not professional from originIt’s not fair to pay expensive price but not base online website photos! Foods???
EXTREMELY RUDE front desk lady!!! It was busy she was loosing her grip so she lashed out on customers which is insane. She should be happy there's good business, NOT pissed off!!!
The older woman offered disappointing service, and I'm not sure why she appeared upset. I'm a little confused about the menu, and the server seems frustrated. Réservez une table maintenant
The food may not be very authentic, but it tastes decent. I'm just happy they’re around.
