Charcoal Steak House

Went for by husband’s birthday. So many things went wrong. My beef ribs were so fat, sent back and they said they was substandard. Husband was told he could substitute a salad for potatoes but was charged extra for salad and got no potatoes. He was given dessert menu to choose free treat for his birthday. He got charged for it in the bill. Refunds were SO confusing, we don’t know what we ended up paying…just wanted to get out of there! Never had so much go wrong at the Charcoal

I highly recommend this restaurant and have always been impressed with the Charcoal group of restaurants. The staff is attentive, but not annoyingly so, and the menu offers a great variety of options (including vegan) and if you are looking for something over the top amazing try the Japanese Wagyu tenderloin as expected it was pricey, but it was also ridiculously amazing. Thanks to the entire Charcoal team for a memorable experience!

I was with two friends last night at the Charcoal. We always order the same dish filet mignon with twice baked potato. The food was delicious as always. But, the filet was on the cooler side which contrasted with the potato that was too hot to eat at first. A little disappointed but still enjoyed the meal, the ambience and the wait staff. I will always recommend the Charcoal. Best restaurant in the region. thank you Rita Westbrook

We went to celebrate a retirement. Guest of honour picked Charcoal due to time spent there for work. Disappointed they were out of pig tails which the guest of honour was looking forward to having as it reminded him of the many meetings held there over the years. Rest of meal was very good server was very good.

Comfortable seating, not too noisy like some restaurants, and lots of variety on the food and drink menu. The chicken roulade was amazing!
