Charnwood Arms, Hungry Horse

that is now a hungry horse, so that portions are enormous. it is not a place for those who count calorie! eating is very nice, but there is a lack of salad and low calorie alternatives on the menu. the ess environment is beautiful and it is easy to move and the staff is very accommodating as two of our party had mobility problems. a visit worth a cheap great meal!

Meal is great, staff are good, prices fantastic... Screaming brat not so much but they should be outside or in a seperate part of the restaurant honestly. Don't put families with very young children in the middle of everyone. Other family restaurants do this for comfort of all other guests.

eating and drinking was very good. my fish was a bit dry, but I still enjoyed my meal. they have a good choice of beer and ales. my table could have been deleted after the last customer, so I dropped a star for it. the staff was very friendly and polite.

Lovely place for a couple of bevvies after work and the food is good too! Staff are very busy but still find time to serve the bar and run food in a timely fashion. Rare to see these days well done guys.

They have fantastic deals, the picture below is based on the Saturday deal whereby each wooded plate is 7.50! Can't go wrong with such a price. However it wasn't the tastiest to reach 5 stars
