Food was just OK compared to other Lebanese cuisine I have had around town. Surprised that a falafel combo was just the falafel and a bottle of water. Normally a combo would include a small side such as fattoush. This did not, so I had...to add a fattoush salad which brought my lunch price up to The fattoush was not what I expected either, looked like a garden salad with fattoush dressing on side, again, not what you normally expect around Windsor. When I went to pay, was not happy to hear that the credit card machine was down so I had to use my cash. On way out, noticed there was no Visa, Mastercard, etc sign. I understand things happen, but I hope if I give the restaurant another try, I do...

I really want to support local restaurants right now, and I had high hopes for this particular one since I had ordered from them before. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed with what I received. I had ordered grape leaves, which are my favorite dish from this restaurant. In the past, I knew exactly how their grape leaves tasted, but this time they were not up to par. They seemed to be store-bought and not handmade by the restaurant, which was a letdown. Despite being tired from a long day of work and just wanting a good meal, I found the quality of the grape leaves to be lacking. On a positive note, the man who served me did give me some complimentary bread, hummus, and another sprea...

Very good fresh food. A little pricey but large portions served fresh and hot with complimentary side dishes of pita, hummus, olives, turnip pepperoncino. Brand new décor very impressive! Our waitress was very inexperienced but attentive. The owner came and explained the dishes...to us since we were not familiar with this type of food. We were not disappointed. The meeting room and dining hall are still under construction. A better entranceway would be my recommendation as the front entrance door was hard to find. Also, there were several spelling errors on the menu. They really need a proof reader. Overall an interesting meal and we will definitely eat there again!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a Friday night and there were no other diners. The only waitress was very pleasant, but there seemed to be a slight language barrier when she explained the menu. We tried the Labneh dip, which was delicious with just the right amount of garlic. The filet mignon kabobs dish was well presented and very tasty. We also enjoyed the salad, which was not the typical fattoush. Overall, we are looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes from the menu.

I work in downtown LaSalle and frequently visit local restaurants for lunch with my colleagues. I have been to various locations of this particular restaurant and I must say, I am very impressed. I am not familiar with the cuisine served here, so I often need help understanding the menu. The staff are always able to explain each dish clearly, even if it means finding another server, which makes my team and I feel very comfortable. The food and service quality are exceptional. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem!

I ordered a fatoush salad, that was quite good. I have to say the decor is really nice. What an improvement from the rubby old bar it used to be. Staff were friendly and service was fast.

Driving along Dupont on a Saturday evening, saw this neat little place while stopped at a red light and decided to pop in for dinner.

When I moved to Toronto, years ago, I heard of the name "Farmhouse Tavern" more than once.
