The cake is okay, but the customer service is beyond horrible. On the day I visits, they only accept cash because their card reader stop working. When I'm about to take out my credit card, the girl rudely points at their sticky note saying cash only. I give her $20, but she keeps asking whether I have smaller bills because they don't have changes. Her whole attitude makes it like it's my fault that their card reader stopped working and I don't have the perfect bill to make her life easy. I have been a long-time customer of this restaurant, but I have noticed a significant decline in quality. The price of the cakes has increased to $10.50 from $7.50 for the original, which I understand is due to inflation and the cost of materials. However, the quality of the cakes has diminished. I used to go there for the consistent, fluffy texture of the cakes, but now they are dense at the bottom. The taste remains the same, but the texture is not what it used to be. If you have never tried the original cakes from when they first opened, you may still enjoy the current ones. If you are not concerned about texture, you may appreciate what they are serving. The cake is super fresh and hot. They have several filters. You could try the free sample and then decide which one to buy. I think it's a relatively healthy cake. Not too sweet and not oily. It's a good choice for breakfast. And also a sweet treat for a colleague or friend. It's better than donut at least no trans fat. My kid likes it. The only problem is they don't help me to cut the cake So you have to cut it yourself. Sometimes my cutting is terrible.

I bought original piece from Cheesetella in Hmart Diamond Bar. It was good very soft but when eating in the middle I noticed the cake have million tiny black dust look like pepper powder inside cake so I am not sure it is good to eat or not…please someone tell me what it is since I ate almost a cake and saw this now I am nervous. I took picture but not sure you can see it clear since it was taken at night time
The young lady who is working as of May, 27, 2022, please go quit your job if you don't like it. No customer should bear your rude attitude. It's fine that you have no manner, no greetings, and even no thank you. The way how you treat customer was terrible. I like the cakes from this little gem, but the worker is a big No no.
The worker took her mask off and sneezed. I know the mask mandate is over in LA County and credit to her that she had a mask on. However, taking it off briefly to sneeze defeats the purpose. It was kind of gross actually.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. The coffee and cheese bread I ordered were both delicious and definitely worth trying, especially if you're shopping at H-Mart. I would definitely go back again.

Ordered cream-tella. It was not bad the bread was soft enough but too small portion of white cream. Can't believe it costs 12bucks. Next time, I'll try other castella instead.
Really bad customer service, and rude. They gave me my order wrong and didn't want to give me what I ordered.
