As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant has a nostalgic '50s diner vibe. The staff member who assisted us was friendly and accommodating. My mom ordered a cheeseburger and fries, while I chose the chicken tenders with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was excellent—just the right consistency, not overly chunky or watery. The fries were generously sized and cooked to perfection. Overall, it was a great experience! I would rate it a perfect 10/10 and will definitely return.
This restaurant is a beloved staple in Upper Arlington. It feels like stepping back in time to a diner that hasn't changed since the 1970s, and it likely won't change anytime soon. The prices are affordable, the food is tasty, and the service is consistently warm and inviting. Be sure to indulge in one of their fantastic milkshakes!
Chef-o-Nette is a beloved establishment in Upper Arlington, in operation since the opening of the Tremont shopping center in 1955. It offers a genuine mid-century atmosphere paired with tasty food and exceptional service. We particularly enjoyed the ham and cheese omelets, which were outstanding.
I used to ride my bike up to the drive thru and get a hand crafted cherry Coke when I was seven years old. Chef-O-Nette is a sacred place for many Upper Arlington natives . When I eat delicious food here it transports me back to the happy times of my younger self. Réservez une table maintenant
A great little diner. Great food and atmosphere. The wait staff was very attentive and the fact that the decor is throw back it is even better! I would definitely recommend it, especially since it is very inexpensive.
We have visited O-nette four times now and really enjoy it every time. I personally suggest the Hangover burger. Excellent food and friendly service. Our server, Shana, was on top of everything.
Food is is delicious. Owners are amazing. This place is an old school institution and should be celebrated. Definitely a destination in Upper Arlington!
