We went Sunday morning for breakfast; a very tiny restaurant, maybe seats 20. We waited but two other couples left. Our wait time of ten minutes was accurate, however, we waited 65 minutes for our food. I'm not exaggerating, I timed it. I will blame the wait on the arrival of a party of eight, that ordered steaks, right before us, but an apology or even acknowledgement of the delay might have been nice. By the time the food arrived we were really hungry and I was very disappointed; the way they plate the food it looked so skimpy and a mostly white plate. However, the food was good! As usual when arriving at Chefies I was welcomed by owners Michael & Meagan. I ordered an omelette & when Meagan brought it to my table she said a treat had been added to my breakfast,two slices of banana bread which was delicious. The omelette was huge & perfectly cooked & was accompanied with home fries,toasted multi grain bread,fruit cup & coffee. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast or lunch I highly recommend Chefies.
It is a lovely little restaurant hidden at the very end of the plaza. It is bright and cheerful with a pleasant atmosphere and equally warm staff. The menu is varied but tasty. There soups are soo good. You are welcomed to get up and serve your own fresh brewed coffee or tea. In a a delightful visit. I will be back. Friends, family, alone or with business people it will suit your needs.
Had lunch today with our family while we are visiting from England, we had a lovely lunch at Chefies eatery, there was a good selection of food all cooked after you had ordered so it was all nice and fresh. The coffee was good and service very efficient and pleasant.
