brilliant pub. visited it after the last renovation and the decor is on place. service was fantastic and food/price was fantastic. I'm here again without doubt. constructive criticism: I asked for a rare steak, but it came like blue. precious and tasty, no need to go back. chips, sosse and tweezer rings were at the place. the size and the cost outweigh the cooking of the steak, but see a steak under boiled as overcooked. throw a bounty lock or a child activity down in the garden and their sorted. we would be regular visitors if that were the case. highly recommended!
We’ve just completed the Cheshire Ring on a narrow boat and the Cheshire Cheese was the number one place to dine for atmosphere, great food and tremendous value at less than £20 for 2 mains (we had the lovely chicken korma) and 2 drinks including a good large Cabernet Sauvignon. It was quiz night but the pub was full long in advance. Unbelievable really good my number one dining experience of the trip.
I'm so impressed. many thanks to david and his team at the cheshire cheese. a very lively and cozy atmosphere with friendly and friendly staff. the Chicken-Ubereber was excellent and tasty as well as the chocolate brownie dessert [secret chocoholic]. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again in future. I give you all
had a nice visit to the Cheshire cheese with family friends. the pub is beautiful. when it was a sunny evening, we went and sat at the bottom of the large beer garden where there was much space for our children to play. the manager dave and team were all very friendly welcome. we will surely go back. friendly and cozy pub.

Had a delicious bacon steak... Wow!! Juicy and thick. Beats any gammon in other pubs. Then the Rocky Road Sundae.... Delish A great pub that caters for families... Boaters... Locals... Diners and drinkers. Love it. X
beautiful building and environment. the personal was the top of the performance card and eating was for the including gluten-free eating for one of the party will definitely go back and highly recommended
Lovely pub and delicious food. David and the staff were amazing and made us very welcome and this was our first visit and we will definitely be returning again
