On October 1, 2022, at 4:30 PM, I had an unfortunate experience at this restaurant. While I was waiting in line, I noticed that a customer ahead of me paid at the bar, and the cashier was wearing gloves while handling cash. However, when it was my turn to order chicken, the cashier did not change his gloves. He intended to use the same gloves, which had been in contact with money, for my order and potentially for other customers as well. I voiced my concerns, but he brushed me off, claiming I was speaking to the wrong person. Another customer behind me shared my concerns and ultimately decided not to place an order either. To my knowledge, this is the only Chesters Fried Chicken in Houston, so we drove an extra 16 miles for the delicious roasted chicken and our family favorite: roasted gizzards. The fried chicken was exceptional, but unfortunately, the gizzards were old and the crust too hard, which was quite disappointing. I would much rather wait 15 minutes for a fresh batch than be served an old one. On my next visit, I’ll make sure to ask for a fresh batch, or I might just skip ordering the gizzards altogether.
Came here for the buffet and I must say, it was one of the best Indian buffet I had in Los Angeles. The salt lassy was also delicious with a hint of mint flavor to it. All the chicken dishes in the buffet were really tasty especially the chicken tikka. Loved their samosa as well as bread pakora. I would definitely recommend this place for a good dining ambience and quality of food and will come back here for sure.

I get a #3 with 3 tenders, 3 potato wedges, a side of fried ocra, 2-3 jalapeños, and it comes with abiscuit. The only complaint I could possibly have against them is that I don't particularly care for any of their sauces.

The 3 piece chicken tenders were dry and bad. I asked for fries but the lady gave me a 1 huge wedge fry. I didnt even bother questioning the lady. Terrible food. Stay away from Chesters Chicken. I didnt went to this one. I went to a gas station and Chester's was inside.
Just had a great meal at chesters, great value. Services was great, gentleman took the time to explain the sides to us. Our first time at Chester's and we are visiting from UK. Many thanks
The young man that works here Javier) is just the greatest! He works SO hard and is always polite and friendly even when the truck drivers yell at him. I hope they pay him well!

The chicken strips were juicy and tender, and the sides were fresh. The staff there is very friendly.
