I love the atmosphere of this little café. The tea and bagels were great. The staff was friendly. I appreciate the vegan cream cheese and I think you would get a loyal stream of customers with a few more vegan options on the menu. A simple way to make your café welcoming for city parents would be a high chair and changing table in the toilet.
I'm at least 3/4 days a week in Chestnut Hill and come back mainly because of the staff. I admit that I never too adventurous with my coffee, but I have found the food to be consistently good and they are ready to go from menu on request. Sit alone at a table or enter the bar conversation, either as you will feel at home!
