Chez Bong has two locations; we had lunch at the Chinatown location which is located in a basement on Main street. The place is small, cozy, with friendly staff, good food, and very reasonable prices. We each a different Bibimbap (fish for me and pork for my fiend). The portion in the bowl was generous as well as tasty; they came with side dishes of homemade kimchi and sweet potatoes and I also got a small portion of hot chili. The service was quick and friendly. and we left with the intention of paying this place a return visit.

3 /5 Évaluation

After viewing photos of the dishes at Chez Bong posted by other customers, I found them to be colorful and diverse. However, my own meal was quite simple, only consisting of bulgogi and kimchi. I was hoping for a more visually appealing presentation and a larger portion size for the price. The taste of the meal was decent but not particularly memorable. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Had to wait for seats to start with, menu is not very descriptive had to ask waiter to confirm what exactly included in the dish. Food is good overall, dislike the taste of kimchi here as it’s so sour. The bimpab was good however there was suppose to be beef in the dish, there was only tiny portion of it and beef is charged extra overall good but can be better

The location is in Chinatown and down a short flight of stairs to the restaurant. It was a friendly place, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered the sweet potato noodles, which were ok, although they were bland. The potato pancake was tasteless, oily and almost inedible. Two bites was enough. Either skip this one or order something different

Everyone was super impressed with how good the food is. Kimchi and sweet potato noodles with veg were so good. We arrived late but they served us anyways and even gave us some sampler apps. Service was great. The washrooms could use a good cleaning.

The food at this restaurant is consistently good and a great value for the price. I stopped in for lunch and got exactly what I expected. The meal was good, nothing extraordinary, but they never claimed to be. The food is consistently good.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this small restaurant in Chinatown! The Korean dishes they offer are fantastic, especially the bimbimbap which I would rate 5/5. The prices are reasonable and the portions are very generous.

I was in Montreal with a friend living here that want us to try this corean restaurant for his speaciality: the bibinbap! Great plate with the possibility of the vegetarian option.

Best hot bibimbap ever. Great service and a cozy atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Will absolutely return to the location in Chinatown.
