Bright restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and very friendly service. Took time to explain each course in detail and each wine for each course. Always replied to my partner’s emails promptly when needed from parking to dietary requirements. Loved the idea and the fact the chef was the owner showing real passion in her food and also the restaurant and I can see this as my family runs restaurant in the UK since 1990. Look no further and if you wish to have a great dining experience, not many reviews due to opening just before COVID out break so please do not base your decision on the amount of reviews! If I come back to Interlaken will definitely go again!
Laurence kocht alle Gerichte mit Liebe aus frischen und regionalen Zutaten. Ich finde die Speisen sehr kreativ, vielseitig und nicht alltäglich. Oder hatten Sie schon jemals zum Mittagessen Eier, die während einer Stunde bei 65° gekocht wurden, zusammen mit frischem Spinat?Es ist jedesmal eine Bereicherung für alle Sinne und es ist schon vorgekommen, dass ich mich zwischen den beiden Hauptgängen am Mittag nicht entscheiden konnte und beide Gänge bestellte. Das Restaurant ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gefällt mir gut, ich gehe sehr gerne hin und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, auch für Familienanlässe. Vorher reservieren lohnt sich!
My family ate here for dinner one night after a tour to Jungfrau’s Top of Europe and loved it. You deal directly with the chef (Laurence) and the meal was lovely. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the appetizer and dessert were original and delicious. The environment is charming and extremely clean and we would encourage everyone to go there! It’s a nice walk to get there from the train station and was a memorable family experience. We loved everything about the chef, the food, and the ambiance.
2 plats à choix mais préparés sous nos yeux par la maîtresse de maison. Délicieuse soupe rampon-mandarine en entrée et un excellent hachis parmentier comme plat. Une panna cotta pomme-huile d'olive-gros sel, tout en subtilité termine ce beau moment de partage gastronomique. A essayer d'urgence! Réservez une table maintenant
Das beste Cafe, in das wir in ganz Interlaken gegangen sind! Wir hatten einen schönen Morgen und genossen die schöne Aussicht, das großartige Essen, den Kaffee und das herzliche Gespräch mit Laurence. Wir werden jedes Mal wiederkommen, wenn wir zu Interlaken kommen?
