This isn't my first rodeo at a chickpea when I'm from the south. And I usually have very good experiences there. But that's all. It was a very busy dinner rush and my friend and I were in line behind 5 big families. A few weeks ago we were beaten up by a drunk driver and I'm in a spine and my friend has a broken femur and is on crutches. Although the counter was full of employees and they cured food and worked their hardest, it was quite waiting (long line), especially for someone with broken leg! Michial was our server, he was very polite and friendly. When we were finished, he cost our food! I don't understand any of the negative reviews, unless it's solely based on the restaurant being closed on Sundays, and perhaps the lack of available parking spots during rush hours. I'm not religious, but I can respect that decision. Since their grand opening, this establishment has been run fantastically. The place is always busy, but the staff is always very friendly, finishing every statement with "My pleasure." They have employees circling the perimeter and cleaning tables incessantly, and asking if customers need any additional services or sauces. They even have a dedicated box for extra sauces. I wish that Chick-fil-A would offer larger portions for the price they charge. The food always seems to be soggy and not very satisfying. I was told that they don't do well at this location, and after spending $32.00 on nuggets and strips, I regret giving them my money. Other places would have given me more food for a better value. I should have just gone to McDonald's or Popeyes instead, where I know I would get more for my money. At least those locations offer better value for the cost.
I am a big Chick-fil-A supporter, and I highly recommend the Vancouver and Hillsboro locations. However, this particular location fell short of my expectations. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive-thru, I was told to move forward and wait an additional 15 minutes even though I had only ordered a sandwich and fries. The service was slow and they skimped on the fries. This experience did not meet the usual high standards of Chick-fil-A.
