While it might not appeal to Japanese purists, that doesn't bother me. After an incredibly long wait (despite there being only one other customer in the dining area), the experience did have its highlights. We placed a large to-go order and were informed that they only accepted cash for takeout. Unfortunately, we weren't prepared for that since they also offer Grubhub and Uber Eats, and we didn't have any cash on hand. We explained our situation, and they kindly allowed us to dine in and take the leftovers with us, letting us pay by card. Aside from that small issue, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. It did take a while to prepare, but given the size of the order, it was understandable. Everything looked beautifully presented, and the fish was particularly good.

I visited this restaurant on a whim, hoping for a good experience, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The quality of the fish was disappointing, and the portion sizes were very small; the chef sliced the fish extremely thin. Considering the other options available in town, Sushi and Maki is a far superior and more affordable choice. I believe you can definitely find better elsewhere. The staff was fine, but given the quality of the meal I had tonight, I wouldn't choose to return. The poke bowl is fantastic if you're a fan of cucumbers, as it contains mostly cucumbers—about 90%—with just 10% fish and some seaweed. For $22, I could have gone to Happy Valley Station and gotten an ocean bowl along with a refreshing drink. Alternatively, I could have visited Fred Meyer for a more affordable poke bowl without the hassle of running into Tracy.

The food was fine, but I payed over $60 for a poke bowl and two sushi rolls. The poke bowl was 90% cucumber and it was $22! Really underwhelming and the prices are way too high for what you get.
