Espresso Macchiato is technically simple doppio shot Espresso Topped (gently!!) with a puppet game of perfect microfoam.... so I use the production of this classic drink as a way to evaluate Barista competence, as well as management function ... most coffee shops get it partially or completely WRONG! whatever the price. I am happy to report that Happy Valley Peet always gets it right, very right, every time. Thank you!!!! MM

Friendly, accomodating barista, and best mocha at all (does not order a whip cuz foam is so good and creamy! He rsaid her specializes in creamy foam!
