We went to have dinner at what has been our favourite Thai in the area. We noticed the name had changed to Phatboy Thai but menus still had chilli jam. This should have been a warning. After not being met at the door we finally were seated. After sometime menus arrived and we ordered. Entree came relatively soon. After waiting for over an hour our mains had not arrived. When we asked we were initially told it would be another 20 minutes. We said this was not satisfactory and our meals arrived soon after with many apologies saying they missed moving out order up after entree. When travelling to Sydney, I often stay in Gladesville with family, so have tried a number of the great restaurants along Victoria Road. Chilli Jam is one of my favourites. Have been a number of times in the past twelve months and always good. Service is friendly, prices reasonable and the money bags, massaman beef and chicken pad thai are wonderful. When shopping all day in the City it is great to hop off the bus and have a steaming bowl of fresh and delicious pad thai before going home. Looking forward to another visit next month. Relaxed atmosphere and great for a family get together.
Terrible customer service, terrible staff. Took 6 calls to get through and then the lady had to ask me to repeat my order 5 times because she kept speaking with someone else.Our food wasn't delivered after 90mins despite constant assurances that it would be a maximum of 60mins. When we called to check where our food was, it took 9 calls to get through then finally she said she did not have our order but we could cancel it if we wanted to.We will never go to this place again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

It took 6 calls to get through finally. We were assured our order would be delivered in an hour. After 90mins, and 9 calls, still nothing and the restaurant staff were not helpful or apologetic. There was no manager to speak with. Worst customer service ever. Do not go to this restaurant.
Been getting take away for 5 years, never had a issue until tonight! The pad see eiw was half cold, the chicken wasn't cooked properly. On the other hand the prawn cakes were amazing and HOT. Hope this doesn't happen again.

Met a group here for dinnerService was fairly patchy with our group waiting for a waiter on more than one occasion.
