Just been here for a friends birthday, been quite a few times previously and been ok but can honestly say tonight was the worst meal we have had this year and we have had quite a few at different venues. I had the sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice and it was the worst I've ever had, the chicken was tough and took some chewing and the rice was cold and bland. The waitress didn't seem interested in either her job or the customers and she kept disappearing into a back room to check on children that could quite clearly be heard. Wouldn't recommend and definitely won't be back anytime soon.
After not visiting for a while, we decided to give this restaurant another try. The food was excellent, but the service was lacking. After clearing our main meal, no one asked if we wanted dessert, coffee, or another drink. This was disappointing, as I had to wait 10 minutes and flag down a waitress to ask for the bill. It seems like they could use some additional training in the service department.
Went fir a meal this evening the food was very good but the service lacked thst but if attention to detail. After the main course we were not approached and asked if we wanted a sweet or coffee after sat waiting for 10 mins I had to request the bill. They could have made more money from us as we would both have had a sweet and a coffee disappointed to say the least. Food: 5
I have visited China Court many times over the years and have always had a fantastic experience. Whether dining with family for special occasions or enjoying meals with friends and groups, the staff always goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable evening.
