I lived in the area for about three and a half years, and during that time, I have ordered from Little Basil countless times—probably around 40 to 50. That alone speaks volumes. The food has always been hot, delicious, timely, and accurate, with just one small exception. Given this impressive track record, they definitely deserve a 4.9 rating. Where else can you find a place where everything is perfect, except for one minor issue? The mistake wasn't even that bad; I received chicken roast rice instead of pork roast rice. China Garden used to be my favorite spot for Chinese delivery during my first month of college. I was a big fan of their Szechuan tofu, often pairing it with fried rice. Everything seemed great—until the end of September, when I decided to add hot and sour soup to my usual order. That’s when I discovered hair in my food. I wouldn’t normally make a fuss over a single strand, but I found hair in two out of the three dishes I ordered. The food is good here. Not great. It's convenient as I can call in my order and walk over they have delivery but its such a short walk for me that I might as well. The prices are decent and they have some coupons in their menu that we take advantage of. I've had fried rice a few times and it's just lacking something but we eat it. Had the chicken and cashews once and that was a bit blah as well. The moo shu pork was flavorful. Scallion pancakes are good. Basic egg rolls. Wonton soups broth was a bit greasy on top and the last time I had it the broth was dark usually I've only had a pale yellow broth. The service is good and friendly.

The food here is typical of Chinese cuisine; it tastes good and, in my opinion, is among the best in the Main Line area. However, nothing really sets it apart from others, and the prices are a bit high for Chinese food. Additionally, the "do not eat here" sign they have hanging up comes off as rude. After all, who pays for those tables and chairs? It's the customers! Réservez une table maintenant

We always stick to our favorites: the veggie fried rice and spicy garlic bread, which are the best I've ever had. We also sampled the orange chicken and crab lagoon, and they were quite good as well. However, nothing can top the broccoli. Even though we've moved out of the area, we still order from here several times a month.

The restaurant has been closed for a few months now, which is disappointing because it was the only Chinese restaurant within walking distance from my home. The food was decent overall—nothing remarkable—though I did find some of their tofu dishes to be quite flavorful.

New customer in Little Basil! Your food is always fresh, tasty and not let down in oils. I love that their restaurant does not allow you, but through a customized door / drag with a intercom for all pickups. Five stars for Covid security measures. Would recommend

The Chinese food is quite greasy. They really encourage you to enjoy your meal in the comfort of your own home, which is something I can appreciate. However, being Chinese food, you might find yourself regretting it about 20 minutes after you finish eating. Réservez une table maintenant

This is my third time ordering from Little Basil, and I got my usual choices: white meat General Tso and Mongolian beef. Both dishes are still incredibly delicious and fresh. I can't wait to share the pictures with you!

Dining on a budget here is a fantastic experience. Believe me, the food is incredible (as a passionate foodie, I can attest to that), and the portions are the largest I’ve ever encountered.
