This was a surprisingly uplifting experience. I think, typically, a person just wouldn 't expect much going into a Chinese food shop...so I didn 't. I walked in, and there was a woman cooking, who looked at me and said, Hi, how are you? I greeted back. The gentlemen taking orders was polite, and after ringing in my order, I questioned the total. He took time to explain why my bill was what it was my nephew added an item I forgot about). I paid, then ran to the gas station real quick. As I walked back in through the door 5 minutes later, our food was being bagged, and the woman thanked me and said my order was ready. The food was fantastic. The staff was quite unfriendly, and we were displeased with their tendency to charge extra for various items without delivering on the quality. Our order of chicken fried rice had minimal chicken, and the egg fried rice had barely any egg, for which they charged an additional $3. Furthermore, we requested spicy rice, incurring an additional $1 charge per order, but not only did they fail to make it spicy, but they refused to give chili oil and ended up giving a dry chili powder. This experience was disappointing, and we won't be coming back.
Decided to try these guys out as it's within driving distance from where I work. The pictures on the website looked really good which helped in my decision. Be forewarned they only have a single phone line and a single phone and it stays busy a lot. Order online is your friend here, but I did get through after some time. They made my order exactly how I wanted it with extra ingredients in both my fried rice and my Beef and Broccoli. Both were extremely good and there was plenty of it! Pork egg rolls were good as well.
I always get hot braised chicken from here. The dinner combo is always a good value the food is always fresh and delicious flavor/good quality. Vegetable egg rolls are sooo good. The crab Rangoon is ok, but it’s basically just cream cheese no crab. I do feel like this place pinches pennies a lot here like paying extra for soy sauce and fortune cookies, but it’s the best Chinese food I’ve had in STL so far it’s still a good value so I don’t mind too much

I was passing through I just Googled was near me. When I called as I was rushing phone was busy continuously. Owner accidentally left off the hook! That would of saved me w/ time.As a food critic/reviewer I was highly satisfied I don’t typically eat at just any Chinese Restaurant. I ordered special rice minus pork added extra chicken w/ crab rangoon! Rangoon was the best EVER! The Owner was very sweet to me! I’ll be back.Much Love from Marchelon Spa
The general tsos chicken is awesome. Nice crunch on the outside. I love the texture of the type of breading they use. Great people who run the place. Always friendly.
Everyone is so friendly and they have the best Chinese food. I find I judge all other Chinese restaurants to this one and so far NOONE compares!!!!
I like you get to watch them cook your food but they use frozen shrimp from Sam's I can do that myself in the air fryer

They have excellent Noodle dishes. I love the Duck and Noodles.
