If you're in search of an authentic old-school Italian restaurant, Massa's (only at the Bridgetown location) is the perfect choice. The restaurant is housed in a charming old building, and the prices are reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which was both tender and delicious. Others in our group opted for chicken with broccoli in a creamy sauce, fettuccini Alfredo, and spaghetti with meat sauce and mushrooms, and everyone enjoyed their meals. It can be a bit tricky to access the parking lot due to a sharp turn from the highway, so I recommend using the Yelp directions app.
We had the Italian salad with sweet vinegarette. This is a staple and I love it! And a portebella with seafood excellent! The waitress, Mary, was so nice, she was helpful, and kept us in warm bread! There is live singing! It is an unassuming building but Mary said this was the original Massas! It is definitely worth a try. She said that they have great filet that's extra thick! Mind blown. I 'm native to the area and my friend has worked there for ions, yet I have never been there to eat until tonight. In looking at the building from the outside, I ask a friend, How old do you that building is? Answer: Dirt So don 't go judging this exterior from what you will experience inside! Pepe incredible Old Fashions go on! Look, I spent mucho time on the Hill. I walked the streets as a kid. Massa 's is a treasure that I will now visit on a regular basis.
Wow, this location really confused my GPS (and my iPhone), but I eventually figured out a way to turn off onto a little side road to access the restaurant. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, for sure, and dark inside. But, hey, the food was tasty with generous portions. All-in-all, by St. Louis Italian standards, this is a solid four stars.

This is the hole in the wall Italian spot you want to go to. Portions are massive and flavors are amazing , we ordered the pesto pasta and had enough for leftovers the next day . Classic Cesar salad is dressed really well , couldn't make it to dessert because we were too full . Service was good standard no complaints .
The Restaurant was Great as Expected. I had a Dinner Salad,Tutto Mare Seafood Pasta and Dinner Rolls. This location is the First Restaurant that opened. The Atmosphere is always Pleasant with People enjoying the Great Food.
Was in the mood for some Spaghetti Meatballs, quick Yelp search yielded Massa close. Unassuming, dark, old, small,,, AWESOME! Meatballs Spaghetti simple, large very good. I'll be back next time in STL!
Disappointed. Ordered 16 DOUBLE SAUSAGE pizza for carry out, opened at home and some of the crust pieces didn't have any sausage on them. I ordered double sausage thinking this would not happen.
