We ordered takeout for the first time from China Pavilion, and were very satisfied with our experience, despite the order being somewhat delayed by the Christmas rush. We had their Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, and Hunan Chicken, as well as a simple order of Steamed Chicken, and an order of Peking Noodles, which we'll eat for tomorrow's lunch and maybe dinner. All of the dishes we tried so far were not greasy, fresh tasting, with crispy, not overcooked vegetables. The Hunan Chicken was not spicy enough for my tastes, but I suspect that had I requested it be made very spicy, they would have happily complied. Ordered this Chinese takeout for the first time for Jewish Christmas. The shrimp with garlic sauce was very good. I also liked the Hunan chicken my husband ordered. Everything came with rice, lots of condiments and various desserts. The delivery was a bit late, but that is to be expected on Christmas. Good value too. They now have a new customer. I intend to order again soon.
I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. We've been ordering from them for 25 years and have never had an issue. The food is consistently excellent. While we usually pick it up, we do opt for delivery from time to time, and it's impressively quick! They are also very accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions.
The food here is excellent. Typically, ribs at these types of restaurants can be disappointing, but this place stands out with high quality. The cooking techniques are impressive, and the meat consistently turns out great. I truly enjoy dining here.
