My family and I have been loyal fans of Conrad's since the 1980s, when I was just a child. There was nothing quite like grabbing a quick bite to eat and enjoying a dish of ice cream after watching a movie at the nearby theater. My brother was especially fond of their Orange Freeze. Every Easter, our baskets would be filled with delightful treats from Conrad's. Even after my family moved away in 2000, I made it a point to buy treats from Conrad's for my parents every Easter and Christmas. My mom looks forward to their chocolate-covered cherries! The soda counter is a delightful experience. They offer glass dishes and cups upon request for those dining in. The whipped cream tastes freshly made, and the chocolate milkshakes are delicious. I appreciated that they provide any leftover milkshake, so it feels like you get two shakes for the price of one. The staff are very friendly; I once left my doll behind, and they kindly kept an eye on it until I returned a few minutes later to retrieve it. They serve the glass cups in a pewter holder, which adds to the charm. The ambiance is lovely, embodying a classic old-fashioned soda counter vibe.

The homemade ice cream and handcrafted candies at this restaurant are fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about their work. Their candies are uniquely made with care, and they offer wonderful platters that are perfect for parties. Additionally, they have an ice cream truck that makes an appearance at our kids' high school football games, which is always a favorite among everyone—who doesn't love real homemade, artisanal ice cream? This place is a perfect addition to any party or outdoor event!
