China Restaurant Lotus

The service is very friendly, but other than that this is not a good restaurant. We are from the UK where there are so many great Chinese restaurants and we are always looking for something similar in the Basel area. Unfortunately this is not it. The mixed starter of battered prawns, sesame toast, ribs etc was the worst I've ever had. It even came on a bed of chips! (very Chinese). There is an abundance of vinegar used in the sauces and the beef had been soaked for too long in corn flour. This is a common trick to tenderize poor quality meat, but because it was left to long it had left the beef with a terrible consistency. Avoid this restaurant if you like Chinese food!

A beautiful place that is suitable for cozy food alone as with several people It even has a conveyor belt that drives your food right in front of the table and the price is also appropriate The staff is friendly only their national knowledge and let us wish our language But all in all I can recommend the restaurant personally!

Been there for the first time tonight. Very delicious. Fresh and natural. The service was super attentive and fast. We'll definitely be back.
