China Wok was an unexpected find. An uninspiring exterior and graffiti staircase led to a clean well lit and appealing restaurant. With seating for around 100 the seats surrounded the all you can eat buffet (21 Euro) You can choose the pre cooked dishes or select your raw fish steaks and have them cooked in front of you. There was a very extensive sweet cheese fruit menu. We have done 3 meals in 4 days so we thought it was a great place. Well worth a visit.
I made an order online and it included curry sauce which was spilt all over the bag and was the in the size of a tiny container. I called China Wok about the matter and they made zero effort to resolve my complaint. Firstly they should not sell a tiny amount of curry sauce for a full meal with chicken and rice and secondly there should have sent a replacement container for the sauce that spilled all over the bag. Very poor customer service.
We come here as an occasional treat. Always a fantastically wide selection of dishes from fresh prawns, salads, sushi and other favourite Chinese dishes. The food is very nicely presented and fresh and hot. The staff keep replenishinh the dishes as soon as appropriate. I have never got to the stage of trying the chef cooked wok food again a large selection of meat and veg ingredients or to the desserts. Am too full!
Went here twice recently during our Summer 2019 break to Les Houches. Took the family (two teenagers and our 8-year-old) and we all enjoyed the experience so much that we returned for a second time during the last part of our trip. Great choice of food for a really reasonable price. Doesn't look much from the outside but the restaurant is light and airey inside although a little canteen style. We will be back!
