I ordered for pick up and the lady at the counter was very polite. The restaurant is a small, casual joint, but I love the decor and it's cute. Onto the food, we ordered the Hangover Burrito, Mix Tacos, and the Jamaica Lychee. Starting with the burrito it was heavy. It was delicious and definitely filling, but it was really heavy. I ordered to go and the tortilla got soggy in the 10 minutes it took to get home. It was hard to eat, but I was home so I tore it up and dug in. I wished the fried egg was as perfectly sunnyside egg as it’s advertised. For $3 typical charge for this one egg well and dry. The full order of tots were also soggy. For our first time visit, as we’re been craving to try their food, the awards on the wall didn’t seem to equate the value we paid for today. The tacos made up for the unfortunate mid-level loaded tater tots. The sauces were good. The place was pretty clean, and hard to miss which is right off the 605 off-ramp. This is a hidden gem in Lakewood. The owner beeline is super nice and personable. Delicious food and quick service are always a hit. I like the California burrito and I add shrimp to make it surf and turf. The horchata thai tea is amazing as well. I recently got catering from here for my daughter's second birthday. Everybody who came to her party asked where this was and they wanted to know so they could go again. Definitely worth every penny!Parking: It can be hard to find parking here. We love ordering from here. The adults and the kids are all happy! We get a bowl with the garlicy beans, and the brussel sprouts are amazing! Kiddos eat a chicken taco with flour tortillas and the bean and cheese burrito with garlicky beans!! It's a hit every time!! Thanks again. Plus the food came out really fast as well! It's too bad there is only 5 stars to rate this place! I'm adding another 5 stars. I really don't want to write this review because I don't want to wait for hours for my next order, but I would. Today was my 1st visit to Chinitos Tacos, I was given a gift certificate for my birthday and after my 1st bite of the barbacoa taco I was blown away ! ! !
The carnitas tacos here are amazing. Love that they give you rice and beans as extras. I ordered the barbacoa tacos comes in 3 very tasty and good tacos. Small little area kind of like a mom and pop place but the quality isn't sacrificed. If you live nearby this place is a must try.
