I've always enjoyed Chipotle and have visited other locations with no problems. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular location was disappointing. I had a coupon that they refused to accept, even after I spoke with the manager, who was both rude and unhelpful. They didn’t honor the coupon or offer a refund, so we chose to leave and I definitely won’t be going back to the Chipotle at 3369 Castro Valley Blvd. I did reach out to their corporate office through their website and eventually received a refund.
When you place an online order at this restaurant, you’ll receive only about a quarter of the portion you would get if you ordered in person. If you ask for corn, you can expect to receive only about 10 pieces. The accompanying photo shows just how little food you get. Furthermore, you'll have to wait around 30 minutes for your online order since there's only one person handling the mobile orders. I strongly recommend avoiding this location. It's a disappointing representation of Chipotle.
I ordered fajita veggies and guacamole but didn’t receive either. I decided to give them another chance since they offered a free additional meat portion, but instead, I was only given a half portion. This restaurant was fantastic when it first opened, and there used to be a long line out the door. Unfortunately, the quality has declined and they no longer meet the usual standards. The San Leandro location is much better.
It's comforting to know there's always a Chipotle nearby. This location has everything you would expect, including a small outdoor seating area for dining during COVID. However, during my visit, I noticed that two of the front-line servers were not wearing their masks correctly, as they often had them below their noses while I observed for about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location.

I had a really bad experience at this Chipotle location. I've been to several of their branches before and never had an issue like this. Despite only four people being in front of me, I waited 35 minutes in line. The service was very poor, and it seemed like the staff were unwilling to assist or work efficiently. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I would advise avoiding this branch.
Today, I picked up my takeout from Chipotle Mexican Grill. I ordered the barbacoa burrito bowl with all the toppings, but the meat was overly salty, which made it hard to enjoy. If I had been closer to my workplace and had the time, I would have definitely gone back. There's nothing worse than food that's too salty.
The restaurant was quiet, yet the staff seemed hurried while taking orders. I had expected a more patient and welcoming approach. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl, but the chicken was slightly overcooked and there was an excessive amount of juice at the bottom. Overall, my experience this time was disappointing.
