Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle in Valley West Mall, West Des Moines, IA Went to eat in with three others. Staff very nice, food was fine, same as last time I went a few years ago. But amenities were lacking, and this restaurant is so dirty. First the napkins, hot sauce, and salt and pepper, present long ago, were missing. If you want to eliminate supplying bottles of hot sauce for sanitary reasons, you should provide packets. Same with salt (we asked were given a small container with salt). But every table was dirty, covered with food. Floor covered with rice and other food detritus. We asked for a wet rag to clean our table, they brought a dry towel and swept everything to the floor. This place makes great burritos as most already know. The chain knows how to keep the ingredients fresh and tasty. It is like a Subway for burritos. They let you make your own and pack it full! Main reason I give this place 4 stars is many times this location has young kids working that don't care so much. My burrito this last time was not tight at all and was a mess, and my friend got a much smaller salad than usual. So inconsistent service is the downfall. If you want tasty burritos minus rat meat, this is the place for you.

these were the worst people I have ever met. They were complete jerks and it was the worst costumer service i've ever seen in my lifetime. my family didn't do anything to deserve the judgment and eye rolls that were given to us along with snarky and rude comments. This used to be a great chipotle, no one should ever go to the des moines mall location, unless you want to feel like complete **** after.

This is possibly the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. They serve half scoops, and when you ask for a normal portion—not extra or trying to get free food—they charge you double. I ended up paying 18 dollars for a portion that was half the size of what you'd typically expect at a Chipotle. If I could give less than one star, I would. The restaurant has a great location in the mall, with an outward-facing entrance. Although there can be long lines at times, they move quickly. I would definitely go back! The food is on par with any other Chipotle.

This store NEVER gets a mobile order right! I'm always missing a full entree or the meat from an entree from my family's order AND THEY NEVER FIX IT! It's my fault for going back, but after today- I'm done.

These are the 2 bowls I ordered to go, untouched. They aren't even half full. Never go to this Chipotle. It is a complete joke.

It was so good the burrito was good and the chips and guacamole were amazing and the staff was really nice.
