Not a busy night so wasnt expecting to wait 25+ minutes for order then to have it left on the counter while the grilled fish was done. Batter on the fish was pretty bad and very oily. Fish wasnt too bad but had no flavour. Chips were hot & ok, but very oily. Wouldnt surprise me if they used the cheapest oil available, tasted like it. Never seen a place where the vinegar was more water than anything else - I mean honestly, there are better ways to save money than watering down the vinegar.

Un très bon poisson et une boutique de puce, le meilleur de la hocage. Les puces sont bien cuits et sont croustillantes, du personnel particulièrement sympathique et toujours généreux avec des portions. Bon rapport qualité prix. Nous achetons toujours nos poissons et nos frites ici.
A really good Fish and Chip Shop, the best in Hocking. Chips are actually cooked well and are crispy, staff especially friendly, and always generous with portions. Good value for money. We always purchase our Fish and Chips here.

Anyone can open a fish and chip shop but to keep the customers coming back you need to offer something that no one else has.
Can be a bit hit and miss especially when busy, but generally had great fish and excellent quantity.
