We were driving from Seville to Portugal, and wanted to make a stop. Isla Cristina seemed appealing. And eating on the beach even more so. We rang ahead to make a booking for 13:30, but arrived to find out that our name wasn’t there and we needed to wait until 15h. Maybe my Spanish was a little to blame, but no way they said we needed to eat at 14h. So, I complained...and they cared enough to fit us in...as long as we ate quickly. As this was always the plan it worked out ok. Once we got over the initial pain, the service was fast, friendly and super helpful (their recommended dishes were very tasty and my 9 year old can now cut a sardine). The host welcoming you will try to sell you his fish of the day before he guides you to the table. Be aware, this is a total rip off! I do believe this place can offer good food but they will try to get money out of your pockets. To all considering this place, just pick another chiringuito a few 100 meters left or right from this one. To be honest I don 't care too much about the money, but enough to warn you to not trust this place.
While the terrace opened for those we have booked, we have been at the bar taking some beers, and I have ordered a ration of cooked shrimp, it has been a little late, but it has deserved, some white shrimp freshly cooked huelva, were spectacular on 14 the terrace opened, so for our table, and we have asked for some clams, I have to say that the restaurant was very controlled, with all that happened.
Es un local bonito, en una ubicación excepcional. La carta es amplia y variada, centrada en lo típico de la zona (no esperar nada muy alternativo). El producto y la cocina, bien. El servicio: no especialmente rápido ni atento. En general un poco sensación de cansancio o desgana. Cuando te comentan lo que hay fuera de carta, preguntad precios para evitar sorpresas.

Excelente chiringuito. Decidimos comer aquí porque lo vimos recomendado en una página, y ¡que acierto!. La comida está espectacular, pescado fresco y de calidad. El servicio es de 10, súper atentos, rápidos y amables, a destacar Viki, que nos trato y aconsejó de maravilla. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo. ¡Volveremos!
Brilliant place to spend the day. Plenty of parking and about half is shaded. The bar and restaurant are lovely, food is good and reasonable. Toilets are clean!! Beach is backed by sand dunes and totally unspoilt. Best beach I've been to on the Costa de La Luz.
Atención buena y rápida. Comida exquisita (comimos una deliciosa ensaladilla de gambas, unas papas arrugás con un mojo picón buenísimo y una fritura de pescaítos perfecta y abundante). Precios moderados. Volveremos!
Great fresh fish. Very popular. Good service but they do add on the extras without asking such as bread, cheese, service. A great experience and worth paying a bit extra. Loved the place. Easy parking .

The staff was very friendly and we got a table after 10 minutes of waiting and a beer at the bar. We had tuna and octopus. Both were very good and the prices are moderate.
