there are not many places for musicians to present their work. In an original band presents some challenges...but playing in the chat has bands like ours to play originals... most joints are only interested in the lower line (MONEY).... I love and appreciate Amy for their contribution to the music community in Pacifica... the Chit Chat Cafe is a rare and wonderful place.... Thank you, Amy! we love you!!
Stopped while driving from SFO to Carmel by the Sea. Delightful charming. Local folks play music, every one enjoys. Menu is small , good for a sandwich meal. Food is fresh and nice. We were a large group had Vegetarian delight which was very good, Chicken was also nice and so were bagels . Good choice of coffees is also available . We enjoyed the stop.
If you want to get a feeling what pacifica is like come to chit-chat. Drop by and try their coffee and lox bagel on a chilly, foggy Monday morning to get your week going; sit down listen to a live local band saturday night to wrap your week up. To me, his corner joint is an emotional gateway to P-town where I belong. Cheers!

I visit this place about once a week , hey have a large coffee selection , happy outgoing crowds and ocean view. Great and fast service with out to mention the pastries ;
The food was excellent, and the staff was wonderful—I'm pretty sure one of them was named Jill, and she was fantastic! Our band performed there, and we had a great time.
This charming little spot has the potential to become a national treasure. It's just slightly off the beaten path, nestled near where the fishermen tend to gather.
