Lounge is terrible!!!! Music is so loud you are not sure if you are there to eat or pick someone up at a disco. Seating arrangement is never compatible for large groups and the booth seating is narrow and uncomfortable. We requested the music to be turned down 3 times just to be turned up by the barman. He was not paying my tab......paid for my own bill and could not speak to the people at my own table. This place has good food unfortunately spoiled by the loud music, not sure if the intention is to get you out as soon as possible. Please do something about your intention to kill ambiance. Based on the TA reviews we stopped in for dinner and immediately liked the vibe. The wait staff is not only great to look at, but all had a great attitude. On a Tuesday evening the place got packed by 7pm.The food was good. My buddy had the slow cooked salmon and I had the prime rib. The salmon was better. The prime rib was really good, not not quite great for the price.Drink selection is good... parking ample... and it's easy to find. Next time I will try one of their steaks.
We often visit Chop when staying in the airport area. The food is always good and the service attentive. We enjoy sitting in the bar area to take in the more lively atmosphere. I enjoyed my prime rib and my wife found the mushroom ravioli to be quite nice.Chop has a good choice of wine by the glass, but I found the drinks to be expensive (I guess it would be cheaper is we drank less.) Meal, drinks and tip for 2 came to $191.
We have been to the chop on a number of occasions. The service, food and atmosphere are terrific. The menu is varied. The food is well prepared. The staff are great. My wife and I have allergies to shell fish. The staff assist us in choosing menu items that will not come in contact with shellfish on the menu.My wife loves the steaks. I love the ravioli. The onion rings and prime rib Yorkies are among the best I have eaten.

I went twice to Chop during my 2 weeks job training in Winnipeg. I am allergic to bell peppers and the restaurant really accommodate in order to serve me pepper free food. The manager went to talk to me and was making sure the kitchen were really carefulwith meal preparation so they don't cross contaminated my food It was really good experience. Plus environment was nice. Highly recommended.
This was my second visit and took our teenaged kids. Food and service were exceptional. There was a mistake with the order flow and they handled it exceptionally. Sent one steak back and they replaced it and deducted the item from the meal which even goes beyond what I would expect. How they handled that situation builds brand loyalty and we will be coming back soon. Great place!
I had never been to Chop Steakhouse. I did find it pricey but the food was excellent! I had French onion soup which was fabulous. Had a steak and baked potato with a side of mushrooms. It was all wonderful. Caribbean Rum cake for dessert. It was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. Will definitely go back. Some things I must try on the menu.
went on july 15 for my birthday...great dinner...fantastic onion soup ceasar salad mushrooms and both of us had a very good steak....we had desret that they had on special or free for birthdays...would recomend but it is fairly expensive...

The setting and service have far exceeded any expectations I could imagine. The team took car of out entire family delegation and complied without hesitation with any allergies. The food and value where excellent. Glad we came.
Really good food and fantastic service. Loved the lobster rolls and teriyaki sirloin. The cheesecake was also to die for.
