I went to this restaurant with my son for a birthday burger on a quiet Saturday lunchtime and we were pleasantly surprised. The friendly welcome and excellent service were matched with delicious burgers. We both ordered 'The Hornet', a 12oz patty with melting cheese, cream cheese, and honey piri piri sauce that was incredibly tasty. We also enjoyed the fries and onion rings, which were served with a selection of Chorleys sauces upon request. The sauces were all excellent and available to take away, along with the rest of the menu. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch and plan to return in the future.
It's no wonder this restaurant is ranked number one on TripAdvisor. If you're having trouble finding it, just head towards the Barley Sheaf Pub. You'll be able to smell it from 20-30 meters away. Despite its small size, the restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere that is enhanced by its friendly and helpful staff. This place isn't trying to be something it's not - it's the real deal. Next time you're looking to eat in Truro, give this place a try.
Just wow. Since coming here with friends to celebrate my husbands birthday we can’t stop praising this little secret food paradise. Aside from the best burgers I think we have ever tasted everything we ordered was delicious and interesting. Shane was lovely and helpful and the atmosphere was just so relaxed! It’s like being welcomed into a friends home and we can’t wait to visit again! This is what dining locally should be about.
After being a chef for 15 years I have never felt the need to go to the same restaurant twice within the space of two weeks.let me tell you all the first time was not a one off, a good choice of food and sauces and all cooked very well. I will definitely keep going back again and again my new favourite restaurant not just in truro but in Cornwall. And I've eaten at a lot of places

we have loved our first visit absolutely and it will certainly not be our last! we had both ripening with the smokey mild sauce and the meat was so tender that it just fell from the bone and melted in the mouth. we had our 2 months old baby with us and all were so friendly and friendly. can not wait to come back and try the bunny chow next!
The meal was absolutely fantastic. I loved the Hawaiian burger with the hot and smoky BBQ sauce - it was a delight and I will definitely be ordering it again. My partner tried the fireblade and found it to be spicy and full of flavor. Even our baby enjoyed the dessert! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
Booked a large party of us for a meal. Everyone really enjoyed their food, great size portions and the Platters were especially good. Really helpful and friendly staff and owners who went out of their way to cater for us. Will most definately be back again.
had the 12oz smokehouse burger and have to say it was one of the best burgers I had. will definitely go back. the Sharing tablet looks fantastic. 10/10
