Disappointing stay at Aqua Marina caravan site, first impressions arriving is refuse bins full and in full view of our pitch, pitches have gravel but road in is type 3 compacted, virtually no lighting on at night, 12 or so pitches with 3 lights working and very little on the Marina side. Toilets are a fair walk away in the dark. Arrived Sunday and site very quiet but Monday morning 0800am tractors, road sweepers, forklifts, lorries all working around where we were. Never felt safe or secure we stayed one night of the 3 we booked. We will not return.
I was sold a boat by the brokerage at this marina. the surveyor that they booked on n my behalf cost £1900 and he failed to detect that my fuel tank was contaminated and the marina subsequently found it and told me it was fixed when it wasn't. this led to my engine being ruined only two hours after leaving and costing me thousands to replace it. they have done nothing to resolve this since. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BUYING A BOAT THROUGH THIS PLACE THEN TREAD VERY CAREFULLY AND GET YOUR OWN SURVEYOR.
We stayed for 5 nights in our caravan. Access was easy and the pitch generous, although the outlook was nothing spectacular. The caravan pitches are near the marina's workshops so there's no quiet lie-ins during the week. The whole site is well kept and tidy, with friendly staff. Great location to go to other places including nearby Nantwich, Cheshire Oaks shopping and Anderton Lift Lock.
Our 1 st time at this cafe. Possibly our last. Tea and coffees were excellent. Our meals were only average. Only a handful of people were eating at the time. It took for ever for our meals to arrive. At least 30 minutes. Ps. The staff were excellent. Very pleasant and accommodating. My thanks to them.

A lovely plave. Nice spacious pitches. Reception staff lovely. Bathroom and toilet facilities good. Albeit s bit far from the pitching spot. Bbq area was lush. Scenery lovely. No little shop so go prepapred with essebtials otherwise a supermarket is a 20 minute drive. Nice place
We stopped by for a quick snack and ended up trying the carrot soup, which was really tasty. It was a bit unusual to have it served with pre-buttered sliced bread, but it all tasted great. We haven't been here in many years, but maybe we should visit more often.
The service at this restaurant was awful. The waitress seemed angry when we tried to get her attention by ringing the bell on the counter after waiting for a long time. The food was also of very poor quality. We will not be returning here.
A lovely cafe, plenty of choice, service efficient and staff very friendly. The bacon, Brie and cranberry toastie was delicious. Plenty of cakes to choose from as well and the outside seating has some great views.

This is a charming spot to grab breakfast, but best enjoyed on sunny days. They have accessible restrooms, a complimentary parking lot, and lovely views. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side.
I ordered a beef chilli wrap which took 40 mins to arrive and was hotter than molten lava so took another 30 mins to eat
