My husband ordered a 12-piece meal with biscuits and two large sides, plus an additional large side of okra. First, they forgot the gravy for the mashed potatoes. But the biggest problem was the chicken—it tasted like it was cooked in old oil and lacked the usual delicious flavor. We don’t know what’s changed in the past few months. We’ve been coming to this location countless times and have never had any issues before. Is there new ownership cutting corners, or are there employee problems? Whatever the reason, this location definitely needs some attention.
Decided to give this location on charter way another try. My break wasn't long enough. Seems as though it's worse than it was before. The wait was long even though I was the only one there and then after I finally received my food it wasn't even hot. The crust was like raw flour inside. The banana pudding tasted crummy...like literally had crumbs and not thoroughly mixed or sat too long and starting to separate. The staff seems to never be in a good mood which really falls back onto a bad manager. I won't be eating here for awhile..again

The staff was rude and rushed me to order, even throwing mashed potatoes at me instead of offering other sides. The chicken didn’t taste fresh, it seemed reheated. The mac and cheese was burnt. This was my first and last visit to this Church's Chicken location—I usually like Church's, but not this one. I paid for bombers but couldn’t get ranch or BBQ sauce, and when I ordered tenders, I didn’t get fries. Overall, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had at Church's Chicken.

Rude person rushing u to order throwing mashed potatoes on you instead of offering other sides chicken was not fresh like it was warmed up Mac and cheese burnt first and last visit to this church's chicken place and I like churches but this one nope no never. Signed up for rewards program. Was told at the counter that our free items could not be ordered at the counter and that they had to be ordered on the website. Poor customer experience when the rewards program is intended to attain and retain customers. This experience left us as existing customers wanting to dine there less often.
Always an inexpensive place to eat. Anytime I order food from ANYWHERE I always mention to make my food HOT FRESH, ILL WAIT! Also I make sure to ask when was the last time their cooking oil was changed.
We always make a stop at Church's Chicken in Czech to grab their specials before heading home for dinner. The food at the Charter Way location in Stockton is consistently hot and fresh.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I realized she was coming out of the town exit, and they offer everything she enjoys. I ordered the okra, which happens to be my favorite dish.
The new Texas chicken strips are pretty good. I had a three-piece meal with okra and a biscuit for lunch
