The most amazing Mexican cuisine I've had in a while. From the introductory chips and salsa to the top-notch tacos, everything was impressive and delicious. In particular, the aguachile was amazing (also spicy), as well as the fish taco (which came withan entire filet! The vampire taco absolutely rocked my socks. Additionally, although we didn't try them the barrel-cuppedmicheladas looked impressive. Note that they don't have a full liquor license yet, but they make it work with agave wine and$9.50 32oz beers. Finally, the back patio was extremely pleasant. Can't wait to come back!
Superb Mexican Seafood at Reasonable Prices We've been to Chuy's Fiestas at least a dozen times and sampled all the seafood menu. We love the food excellent, and fresh. It comes bubbly from the kitchen in clay (or perhaps lava) bowls that keep it hot throughout a lengthy meal. Service is attentive. The patio would benefit from heaters, given the cold and foggy San Francisco evenings. The picnic tables do not provide back support, and there are only a couple of standard small tables and chairs with back support. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
At first, this place seems a bit unusual: the floor feels slightly sticky, and to get to the outdoor patio, you almost have to go through the kitchen. However, once you try the food, it’s absolutely amazing! We came as a group and ordered a variety of dishes—everyone was delighted. The service was attentive, and the staff made fresh tortillas right in front of us. I have a soft spot for quesadillas, and I can’t help but highly recommend the shrimp ones—they’re delicious!
If you don’t fall head over heels for these tacos, something’s seriously wrong. Their quesabirria tacos deserve a double chef’s kiss. Just give me a spoon so I can savor the sauce by itself. This is one of the most delicious places in the city. Highly recommend if you want to treat your taste buds to a celebration.

Homemade tortillas and salsas! The carnitas, tilapia, al pastor, and quesabirria are all outstanding. They also offer excellent vegetarian choices and delicious micheladas.
Very good Al pastor tacos and quesabirria. Nice backyard to chill with tacos and micheladas on a sunny day in SF. Highly recommend!
