Cielito Lindo Mexican

The food and service quality is awesome. Sadly my experience with the food was underwhelming and unfortunately would not return. I ended up ordering the fajitas since that was what I was craving. Just a staple Mexican dish. What I got was more of a Asian stir fry tasting “fajita” dish that had no flavor and was dry. Was disappointed with the lack of authentic Mexican flavor on that dish. Also, chips and salsa refill (which is FREE in most Mexican restaurants) is $2.00. Wish them nothing but success, but I would not return.

Additionally, we received a coupon in the mail a couple of weeks ago as part of a welcome package since we recently moved to the area, but they informed us that the coupon was no longer accepted. Although it was still within the advertised 90-day window, there seems to have been a miscommunication. On a positive note, the atmosphere was pleasant, and I've seen that others have had good experiences here, so perhaps it was just an off day. Overall, I was left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Leave your cares at the door and come here on a Fri/Sat evening. You'll be greeted with friendly warmth. The upbeat carefree mood will fill you with positive energy as you witness the happy loving interactions among the guests and workers. Don't be surprised if you and your group are dancing before the night is over, or at least smiling and feeling great.Oh and order something to eat. Don't go home hungry!You'll leave with newfound faith in community and the future of humanity.

Cielo Lindo is without a doubt my favorite place to eat in Minnesota! The food is AMAZING! And the staff treat me like family. I've been coming here for years (I can't believe I hadn't posted sooner) I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. If you're tired of quasi-authentic food served by uncaring staff, then come to Cielo Lindo. They actually believe in serving the best food possible while creating the best atmosphere possible. I had a fantastic meal and drink at Cielito Lindo Mexican Restaurant. The staff made me feel right at home and were very accommodating. The Molcajete was delicious and prepared just as I requested. The Long Island "fish bowl" was spot on, and the queso was exceptional. I will definitely return. Food: 5/5

Service was great. They gave us a sample of some rice milk (orchada) which was excellent. Chips and salsa were outstanding. My steak fajitas were a bit tough but well flavored and the corn tortillas were good. If I'm in the area I'd check it out again.Food: 4/5

This was truly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was amazing but the customer service was even better. They even gave my table chips and queso on the house. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to have a good time.Food: 5/5

The food was excellent. The portions were large and the service was exceptional. The white queso sauce was extremely good. The location seemed a little unusual for a restaurant; however, the ambience was very nice. Réservez une table maintenant

My food was good but not great, but I only had a couple of flautas. (Sp. Service was nice but slow to check back for order... maybe busy. The salsa was very good!Food: 4/5

Eloy was incredibly welcoming. The family-recipe salsa and Mole sauce are outstanding. The fresh ceviche was delicious and offered great value. Yum!
