Ciera restaurant is the hidden gem of this area of Lake Tahoe. What we anticipated was going to be so-so service and hotel steakhouse okay food turned out to be so much more! I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant. We had such an amazing experience that we went back for a second night. You'd never know that the area was suffering from such a severe labor crisis while dining here. Service was over the top incredible not only from the individual waiters, but because of Daryl. I have been a chef for years and worked and ate at some of the finest steakhouses around and across the United States. The Ciera is by far my favorite of them all. I've been going here for over 10 years and have spent many a birthday there, both for me and friends. The ambiance is unequaled and I love the private booths with a heavy velvet privacy curtains. The service is excellent and the sauces are exquisite! Truly a 5 star dining experience!! Yes, it's expensive but worth every dime
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I’m still sitting at the table as I wrote this. The food has been incredible. We had the oysters and the bison tenderloin for appetizers. My wife had the free range chicken and and I had the seafood mixed grill. The food was impeccable and the service was great. We’re in Tahoe for our tenth anniversary, and I couldn’t ask for a better experience on our last night in Tahoe.
I celebrated my wife's birthday here, and everything was outstanding. We opted for the $60 Prix Fixe menu, and every dish was cooked to perfection. They even surprised her with a lovely personalized note and a birthday card, which made the experience even more special. These thoughtful details really make a difference. I’ll definitely return to South Lake Tahoe!

Amazing experience. John was our waiter and was very knowledgeable of the menu and give amazing recommendations. The drinks and food was so yummy. It’s a high price to pay but it’s worth the value of your money. And it’s always fun to leave dinner and gamble in the casino! In the photo below is the rack of lamb- so yummy!
This restaurant is amazing! Every dish is packed with great flavors. We thoroughly enjoyed the fettuccine and the steak! The lake bass looked delicious as well. The portions are generous, and we savored every bite! The service was excellent too. It’s definitely worth the price, and we had a wonderful dinner here.
This restaurant is fantastic! Everything we tried was incredibly delicious! Our server, Jon, was very friendly and personable. Since it was our anniversary, they surprised us with a card signed by all the staff! I highly recommend taking advantage of every opportunity this place has to offer.

This is my favorite restaurant, Cierra, and my preferred place to stay, Bally's. Our waiter, Mr. John, is amazing! We love him and look forward to seeing him again on July 1st.
Excellent food with excellent service. $60 for the 3 course meal is a bargain comparison with high-end restaurants. This is definitely a must when in Tahoe.
