It 's about time I wrote a review for this place. I thought I did, but I guess I only ever did checking in. Granted this isn 't the nicest looking part of New Brunswick, but this place has to be tried and visited. It is authentically Mexican. From the decor, to the music, to the food and clientele, I feel like I 'm back in Mexico City. But let 's talk about the food. I haven 't had anything bad or mediocre here yet. Our server was outstanding; I’ve never experienced such wonderful service. She was a remarkable young woman. When she mentioned the fresh drinks they offer, we inquired further, and she explained each one before offering us samples. She returned with a tray of small cups of each drink for all of us—what an extra touch! I felt truly cared for throughout our meal. The food was always served with a smile, and the staff was extremely polite and sweet.

The food at this restaurant is genuinely authentic Mexican cuisine. I highly recommend it—you definitely won't be disappointed. The Mole sauce is fantastic, and all the appetizers are impressive. I wasn't a big fan of the texture of the cactus because it felt a bit slimy to me, but that was just a matter of not knowing what to expect. I've visited three times over the last two years, and I would certainly recommend it. Just a heads up: the place has a bit of a divey, hole-in-the-wall vibe, and seating is limited, but if you’re focused on the food, this is a great spot to try.
This is a poor excuse for tacos and guac. I ordered delivery and this is how they had the nerve to send my food. I paid for a side of guac and they gave me a table spoon amount. The tacos were just soggy fish thrown in 2 tortillas, no onions, no cilantro, nothing. Reference pictures. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is because maybe this happened b/c it was delivery and not eat in? If you eat food from this place, DON 'T do delivery. Definitely eat in. You might have a better experience

Dine in, carry out or delivery. We were in the area, so we decided to stay for lunch. Complimentary chips and dips, nicely spiced. I ordered the special: Chili Rellanos, (with beans and rice) and my guest ordered Flautas de Pollo. They were both delicious, and just as we ordered. The portions are large, and the prices are good. The service was prompt and friendly. A parking lot is available on the side. Try the Horchata, too! Don't overlook this little restaurant.
I give this place 5 stars because the tacos are AMAZING. So flavorful and yummy. Their salsa is delicioussss. Spicy and fresh. Food is made to order so if you go inside be prepared to sit for a few minutes but while you wait they give you chips and salsa . Yummyyyyyy. I usually get the carne asada tacos with both green and red salsa
I ordered a Burrito Supremo, but when it arrived, it was surprisingly small, about the size of a 16oz steak. Additionally, the service did not meet expectations. The floors were sticky, suggesting they hadn't been cleaned properly. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends or family.
I asked for a bean and cheese burrito. The guy said it comes with rice is that ok? I said yes little did I know THE ENTIRE BURRTO WAS NOTHING BUT RICE. No cheese or beans to be found in that burrito. What a bummer lol. Cool place tho it 's sick they do shows for young bands.

Authentic Mexican food with a good serving size for a very low price, it's open till late and is byob (with a liquor store literally next door). Only reason I'm not giving this a 4 star is bc the waiter gave real attitude when we asked for more salsa/chips.
Great place for authentic Mexican food. Tons of options, prices are good. They have some tables set up for outdoor dining.
