I ordered a pecan salad to go from this restaurant. The menu indicated that it would have mesclun lettuce, arugula, glazed pecans, and Gorgonzola cheese for $16.00. However, when I got home and opened the salad, I found that it was not as described. It was packaged in a small round container and contained iceberg lettuce instead of the advertised mesclun and arugula. There were also craisins and very few pecans and Gorgonzola cheese. This was disappointing, especially since my family has dined at this place many times before. We may need to reconsider our choice in the future. John, please improve the quality of your takeout service.
It was our first time here, based on the recommendation of friends. I've been here for years, but never thought of it. We had meat leaflets (actually good), crab chicken (excellent), split peas soup (some of the best I had for years), potatoes. Everything was delicious until the iced tea. The owner respected all employees, from the hostess to the waiting staff, and it was obvious. Everything came fast, was served hot, the dishes were efficiently cleaned, it was just a very well managed operation. And cheap. We will definitely come back.

Delicious food, friendly staff, honestly some of the best diner food I've ever had, I come back almost every weekend with my family to have breakfast, it's just so good!
