Popped in today for two bacon sandwiches to take out. Requested the bacon well done so sat and had a cafe con leche whilst waiting. Sandwiches duly arrived neatly wrapped in tin foil, so off I went home. imagine the disappointment on unwrapping said sandwiches, to find insipid bacon with uncooked fat still on it. The bacon had a tinge of colour but not much. As we like out bacon well done, it was basically inedible. I had to get the frying pan out and recook the bacon, not what you expect for 10 Euros, when well done was requested explicitly on ordering. Will just give it a wide berth in future.
We had heard rumours that, with the new owners, Citrus in Orba had gone downhill. We used to enjoy going there before the pandemic for snacks and breakfast so we went to check it out. Turns out the rumours were nonsense, at least from our experience. The place was clean and well laid out. The menu was reasonably extensive and the staff were very pleasant despite having to deal with a power cut just as we ordered. We had the English breakfast and it was really very good. We recommend that you don’t believe stories, but go and see for yourself. I think you will be pleasantly surprised
